Heavy Industrial Molding

High-Capacity Sand Mold Casting Foundations

Sush Tech provides premium engineering management for robust **Sand Casting** production arrays. This versatile and time-tested molding approach utilizes carbon-bonded green sand or chemically bonded resin frameworks to manufacture exceptionally large, heavy-duty components for mission-critical infrastructure fields.

Our supply chain architecture manages complex internal geometries by engineering precision sand cores. This methodology easily handles extreme pouring masses, providing unmatched economic scale and material durability for high-stress machine frames, heavy pump components, and mineral processing applications.

Process Sequence

Our Technical Sand Casting Workflow

01

Pattern Design & Flask Preparation

A physical master design pattern (wood, metal, or plastic) is positioned inside a heavy coping/drag molding box frame to establish the targeted part orientation layout.

02

Sand Compaction & Core Setting

Refractory sand blended with specialized binders is tightly compressed around the pattern. The pattern is carefully withdrawn, and internal sand cores are set to define hollow channels.

03

Molten Alloy Clamping & Pouring

The upper and lower sand flasks are securely aligned, clamped, and gated. Super-heated liquid iron, carbon steels, or bronzes are channeled into the sprue gating system at precise velocities.

04

Solidification & Shakeout Media

After uniform thermal cooling, the hard aggregate sand mold is broken apart during mechanized shakeout lines, separating the heavy metal raw castings from the molding media.

Process Benefits

Key Advantages of Sand Molding

Massive Weight Scaling

Uniquely adapted to cast massive single components scaling from tens of kilograms up to several multi-ton configurations efficiently.

Low Initial Tooling Cost

Significantly lower initial layout investment expenses compared to die casting molds, facilitating low-volume structural flexibility.

Broad Alloy Adaptability

Capable of pouring almost all ferrous and non-ferrous metal streams including dense carbon iron, duplex steels, and brasses.
